Dr. Joy Harris is an accomplished businesswoman with a multifaceted career spanning Early Childhood Education, accounting, and administrative leadership. With a passion for nurturing young minds and empowering individuals to achieve their full potential, she has spent years developing innovative educational programs that emphasize creativity, storytelling, and life skills integration.

As the director of LWE Alkebulan Academy, she has created an Afro-centric curriculum that promotes academic excellence and personal growth through the lens of cultural understanding and artistic expression. This vision for the academy was born out of her belief in the transformative power of education, particularly when it is rooted in identity and self-awareness.

Her extensive background in early childhood education includes developing curricula that seamlessly integrate academic learning with essential life skills, all within a supportive, play-based environment. She is dedicated to ensuring that every child under her care has the tools to succeed both academically and personally, preparing them for a future full of opportunity and self-assurance.

In addition to her work in education, Dr. Harris has a strong foundation in accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative duties. She has managed complex financial operations, ensuring that every aspect of her business runs smoothly while providing strategic guidance to clients and stakeholders. Her commitment to financial literacy extends beyond her businesses, as she frequently engages in projects aimed at teaching others how to navigate the financial landscape.

Her passion for community development and education has earned her numerous accolades, such as a doctorate in Pedagogy, a NYS Teachers Certification, a CDA, several awards from the office of former congressman John Lewis, including recognition for her outstanding contributions to children's education, community empowerment, and business leadership. Dr. Harris is also an award-winning consultant, providing visionary guidance to entrepreneurs, individuals, and organizations on how to bring their ideas to life with guaranteed results.
